Ms. Abigails Flowers – 5X7 Watercolor $75
There are times around here when you are reminded how good people can be, despite all that you see and hear on the news and flavorless social media outlets.
Miss Abigail lived on the Southernmost edge of town, outside of the village proper, and ran a historical plot of land with a beautiful old mansion on it. The grounds were covered in geometric gardens, the facilities were stocked with period items to give a visitor a grand and full vision of existing in that abode back in the day.
She always said that I reminded her of her Father, which I took to heart because I knew him, and was a beautiful, brilliant, and humble man, whom I miss the company and philosophy of, daily.
Miss Abigail would quietly allow my family to stay on the property for moments of rest and peace when we could never afford a holiday.
The flowers were grown in a fertile mind as a symbol of rebirth, a concept she helped open our eyes to.
