Unseen, roaming the village at night is a devil.

It leaves carcasses to be found, scratches in the darkness on empty coffins, and sits under open windows at night.

It waits.

Occasionally, it’ll come to you when you least expect it and brush up against your leg.

The only way to appease the demon is to scratch its head and hope it decides to move along without incident.

Some are not as lucky.
